No Compromise

Through Florence Knoll's work at Knoll Associates, the company where she acted as designer and director from 1946 to 1965, Knoll became a major protagonist of modernist design. She commissioned some of the most iconic pieces of furniture of the twentieth century. She was also an accomplished furniture designer herself, having created classics such as the Parallel Bar Collection, still in production. It was however through her work in interiors that Knoll excelled the most.
