Set a century or so within the future, Simon, a child prodigy, is being bullied, not only by his fellow school students but even by his class teacher.
In spite of his remarkable abilities, he appears helpless in the face of his enemies who grow more violent in their attacks, and he can not reveal his non-human identification to anyone. His similarly talented fellow pupil Alice befriends him. What does she know? Can they help each other?
