One Candle

Our heroine's mother tells our heroine, just as she leaves to go out to play, "One candle against the darkness can light a room, and can light the way!" And this leaves our heroine dumbfounded once again, because she doesn't know why her mother said what she said. And so, when she goes out to play, she tells everyone what her mother said to see what they think. And in the end, our heroine must figure it out all by herself.
