Set in South Africa, this story tells of a father's search for his son, a terrible discovery, and the fate of their village in rural KwaZulu Natal. It provides lots of opportunity to discuss issues such as family relationships, human suffering and racial reconciliation. The film version allows students to incorporate media study.
