Path to the Light Vol. 5: Decoding the Bible with Kabbalah

Path to the Light, Shemot, Volume 5, contains Rav Berg's commentary gathered from 30 years of discourses on the portions Shemot, Va'era, Bo, and Beshalach. Within these pages the reader will be guided not only on the journey of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt, through the wilderness but more importantly on the passage of the human soul. Though we may be familiar with the highlights of this story, the kabbalistic explanation of what is available for us from these sections of the Bible are far from a history lesson. The Rav answers questions such as: What is the process a soul goes through as it traverses this physical plane? Why is there chaos and wickedness around us and how can we protect ourselves from it? The Creator pledged to the Israelites and to all of humanity for all time, "You are not here alone." The purpose of the desert is to give us the space to develop a true love between us and the Creator, through the lessons we learn on our way.
