About Piano Heroes
Playing piano - what an amazing skill to have! Learning to read music is like learning to speak a foreign language. One of the best ways to learn a new language is to start small with basics and gradually progress to more advanced concepts. Sight-reading is not an exception!Have you started working on your Piano Heroes: Mission Adventure? Then this Sight Reading Activity Book is for you. The pages of the book are sets of a few exercises each. The student completes one set a day and remains interested and engaged. The smaller exercises do not deter the student from doing it daily. The accomplishment motivates the student to do it again the following day. The structure allows gradual learning and reinforcement of the material bit by bit. Even though each student is different and some may be able to complete more than one set per day, we highly recommend keeping the load steady and low. Gradual learning via smaller chunks works the miracles! The order and the complexity of the sets in the activity book are aligned with the concepts learned in the Mission Adventure Lesson Book. It is true for both the physical location of the information in the lesson book and the complexity of the concepts. It makes it easier for the teacher to assign the sets as homework depending on the speed the piano teacher and the student is comfortable with .e.g. work on the following 5 sets this week or ask to work on fewer sets next.We hope you enjoy the clapping, tapping, filling the gaps and matching the sight-reading concepts as you successfully complete the Piano Heroes: Mission Adventure!Disclaimer: the book is written in American English.
