POEMS FROM THE HEART When you walk with the one you love for fifty years and more A lifetime is locked in the memory''s store, Some of the difficult things you shared before, And the tender things you shared with the one whom you adore. Looking back over all the passing years, at all the joys and fears You recognize that underneath you both are God''s everlasting arms, That have carried you, and kept you both from everlasting harms. Such love, long lived, is a precious thing That makes the humble heart dance and sing.
