"Poetry Magic: Our Voice of Healing" is an interactive book of poetry, intended for the reader to participate in the process of creating magic and poetry by writing in the journal pages provided. There are 204 pages, and six chapters filled with poetry by Kelly Mullins presented as examples of using poetry to heal. Each chapter presents a concept or category of how the poems within have been used as healing magic. Chapter 1 is Self Talk; chapter 2 is Giving Space to Pain; chapter 3 is Changing Perspective; chapter 4 is Capturing a Moment; chapter 5 is Learning to Love; chapter 6 is Intuitive Poetry.
Each chapter begins with a very brief intro to the concept and ends with a more thorough discussion which is followed by a practice for the reader and space to write their own poem in the book based on that concept.
Sprinkled throughout the book are full color images and artwork to add to the magic. The book concludes with several pages of lined paper for the reader to continue casting magical poetry spells.
