Dying of thirst
while trapped in
the belly of the beast,
I pray to God that my breath
doesnt falter in the scorching heat.
I stumble around helplessly
as my world crumbles due to the pressure.
Skeletal trees and tumbleweeds call out to me
as I keep searching for the forbidden nectar.
