Raising a Prodigal...Broken Marriages...Unfulfilled Promises...Painful Tribulation...Sometimes Love just isn''t enough. Before God called me to become a full-time pastor, I spent nineteen years teaching and coaching high school students in the public school setting. I have seen countless children make destructive decisions, and have watched as they suffered the consequences of their choices. At the same time, I witnessed the torture of many a mother as they were left at home worrying about the fate of their dearly loved child. These are the times that a mother must sacrifice her worry on God''s altar and learn through passionate intercession to hold to the promises He has given in His Word. In my own life I have experienced the Power of a Praying mom. I am still alive because of the prayer of my Mom. James 5:16 teaches us that effective fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.
