Prayers for America

America is the greatest country in the world, the land of opportunity. America is an amazing country, a country raised up by God for the nations to be a beacon of hope and light to the world. America's Founding Fathers came here seeking religious freedoms and a place to worship God. The United States of America is one nation under God. This country has a purpose. This country has a destiny that has been given to it by God. Anyone who lives here should be thankful and grateful to live in a land that God has raised up. Many years ago, I wrote a book called Seed Prayer, a workbook born out of my morning prayer meetings. We had thirty or forty people who would gather Monday through Sunday to pray. We would pray mostly in the Holy Spirit; however, I found that some people would lose focus over time and their prayers would begin to taper down. At that point, I would read scriptures to help regain focus, and their prayers would pick back up again. Simply explained, seed prayer is the praying and declaring of scriptures (planting seeds) and then the "watering" of that seed planted by praying in the Holy Spirit. Out of those meetings, I put together a series of scripture-based prayers, advice, and declarations. The more we prayed and declared these prayers and scriptures and watered them, the more powerful they became inside of us, manifesting tangible results in our lives, our finances, and our bodies. Based on these same principles, I put together prayers that we could declare over America. The prayers of many, and the voice of many, praying for our nation is effective and powerful. Watering the seeds planted by following these prayers and declarations with praying in the Holy Spirit is even more effective and powerful!
