  • - The Symbiotic (Intimate) Nature of Natural and Supernatural Relationships and How God's Love Conquers All
    by Eva J Williams
    £13.99

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to destruction" Proverbs 16:25 (NIV). In John 14:6 we are told that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life (NIV). Our lives do not have to become a long winding road of ups and downs, heartaches, and misfortunes. We can choose the straight and narrow way if we seek ye first the kingdom. Our past does not have to haunt us, rule over us, or keep us in self-made prisons. If we trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways acknowledge him, he will make our paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV).

  • by Kathi Owens
    £17.49

The month of November is always seen as the month of Thanksgiving, the month to be thankful for everything you have and everything that has been given to you throughout the year. But what if you could have that mindset of thanksgiving every day of the year?In A Year of Thanksgiving, author Kathi Owens gives readers an inspirational devotional that celebrates the daily blessings showered upon us by God every day. Knowing that we can overlook the small blessings God gives us in our day, focusing instead on the more noticeable ones, Kathi presents a devotional that helps us to recognize all blessings every day. Each devotional message begins with a chosen Scripture verse, which is expounded upon with the author's message in the devotional and then followed by a journaling section. There is also a daily reading guide to aid readers in navigating through the treasures of the Bible in one year. The idea to create her own devotional of thankfulness began when Kathi noticed each November that social media sites challenged people to post each day on what they were thankful for. Thinking more on the concept, Kathi realized that one could count even more blessings from God than one for each day in November, so she began taking notes while studying her Bible and this book emerged. As readers read each day of A Year of Thanksgiving, Kathi hopes the devotional uplifts and encourages readers to take a moment each day and share thankfulness to God for the blessings He has given. Whether the list can be pages long or just a few short thoughts, the reward is knowing that you have given thanks to the God who loves and adores you.

  • - God is Good News
    by Zelda Elias
    £10.99

I began writing this book about ten years ago. I was sending the message across the country in a simple magazine. I was a Sunday School teacher and love crazy for the Word of God. Fasting and praying to God about writing this book show Him many tears. My tears were of concern that what I put into this book was of Him and Him alone. God guided me every step of the way. God is the purpose of the Good News. Is man judged by the Good News of the Lord? How are we accepting the Good News through traditions, faithfulness, and obedience? Is accepting the Good News the result of our salvation? Many times, the question, "What is the Good News?" has been asked. Well, only believers can answer that question, which is the beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Knowing Him makes believers want to know more about how the Good News is performing in our lives. Believers let others know with our testimony how the Good News of Jesus Christ brought us through life's battles, helping us discover our destiny, how we as believers enjoy working for the Lord in His field after accepting His great invitation. We are the lamps, and Jesus is the oil who fills us up. The Father and Son are one; when help is needed, they come together. The Father and Son are constantly paying us with spiritual income and being loyal to God--who is the Creator, King, and Master--makes us royalty. Don't forget if we mess up, we do have a jealous God with much love. The Good News is Jesus offers us the gift of salvation, and it's free to share the gospel with all. I remember asking God this question who was His mother and father I was only seven years old. Living in New York on a street that was basically all black people living there as a kid life was simple, Me and my sibling knew nothing or very little about racism. Our parent was from Florida and said very little about the way of live in the 40"s and 50"s. I would ask question and I remember my dad telling me about the KKK walking down the streets in white sheets and all the black's could do was run or stand way back. We move from the city to the country where we went to a predomantly white school my life changed and I learned much and I fell, but got back up. Living on the farm was a way to interact with my sister and brother all we had was each other I grew up got a job met the Lord and now live is good.

    - Growing in Christian Virtues
    by Dr Annet Judith O'Mara
    £9.49

Avalanche of Grace!: Growing in Christian Virtues explores fifty Christian virtues via: 1) A definition from the Church or a scholar on each virtue. 2) Reflections on the virtue by holy Christian men and women. 3) A prayer to the Holy Trinity for an in-filling of that virtue. 4) A virtuous story to encourage you. Read prayerfully this book first, before journaling on each corresponding virtue in the companion book, Avalanche of Grace!: A Fifty-Day Virtues Journal. The journal is your space to be inspired by the Holy Spirit to grow in the virtues. Let Him reveal to your soul the Christian virtues you are thriving in or struggling with. Dialogue with God by journaling each virtue and ask for an infilling of His avalanche of grace. Growing in the virtues is good for your soul. Resolve to let the Holy Spirit bear fruit in your life so that others may see Christ in you, as St. Paul said, "It is no longer I but Christ who lives in me" (Gal. 2:20). Allow Christ to radiate through you. Grow in virtue. Let Jesus transform you. Be conformed to Him. Bring souls closer to Christ. Annet O'Mara (D.M.E) and her husband, Don, live in West Monroe, NY, and serve in their local church. Annet experienced a healing in 1990. Suffering a limitation of her hands, she started praying a novena to the Holy Spirit. On the first three nights, the Holy Spirit visited her even as she was sleeping. The Holy Spirit healed Annet's hands by moving them in a synchronized fashion. He breathed His Spirit into her hands, so she worshipped Him. Three days later, Annet was completely healed. Annet believes that the Father desires souls to stay healed by growing in Christian virtues.

  • by E Roberts Alley
    £20.49

How do we escape the temptation to join the Culture War and instead, dedicate our effort to saving our planet? Do facts or emotions answer our concern about climate change? An environmental scientist presents a fresh look at these issues, and challenges you to take the steps necessary now to insure our future. We as humans have the ability to slow down and potentially stop, the destruction of our environment, and play a major role in our future. Within these pages, we explore specific recommendations that we, as individuals, or employees of industries, businesses, and governments, can use to collectively make a major difference in environmental and natural resource sustainability. Therein lies the purpose of the title of this book, and the dire need for each of us to answer the challenge facing us today. The book describes the natural abilities of our human race and discusses whether they are sufficient to accomplish the goal. It then reviews historical trends and recent advancements in thinking, in science, and in medicine, which have affected, and continue to revolutionize our technological progress. These trends, successes and failures suggest how we can encourage and finance that progress through private/public partnerships. We will review government and other data which warn of the likelihood of human-caused global warming, the lack of proof of human-caused climate change, and the true and false "green" efforts practiced today. For this challenge to be met, this question must be faced regardless of our preconceived notions: Since this universe was not created naturally, can it ultimately be saved naturally? What was God's part in the creation of our universe, and what will His part be in the future? As unpleasant as this question might be to some, it must be asked and answered if there is any serious hope of saving our planet. So, the reader is issued a charge, a challenge, to use reason and critical thinking, and not just emotion, to determine if, and how, we can accomplish this critical task.

With the death of his wife, Terry, after almost 49 years together, Pastor Michael Hall found himself devastated and grieving over his loss. In struggling to find his way out of the pain that hung over him like a dark cloud of sorrow, he started texting her phone daily. It seemed a little odd at first, but each day it slowly eased the pain. With each text, memories of their extraordinary love, and life together for so many years resurfaced in his mind. There would be tears and smiles almost every day. He wondered whether anyone would be interested in their life and his grief as an older person. But something impressed him to pull his thoughts together about this amazing woman he was married to and why he was grieving. He realized that his wife's ability as a quiet unassuming person was powerful. She lived to sow love and build bridges with so many different people. She demonstrated to him daily, the possibilities of two people of devout faith showing love. It was clear to him that he had to share her legacy with others. When she died in his arms, even after all those years, he was asking for more time with his beloved Terry. When you love someone, unconditionally for every day you are with them, time is never enough. That is mainly what this little book is about. It was also written to help those who are dealing with grief. Pastor Michael Hall is the Senior Pastor of The Peoples Church of Camp Springs, Maryland. He has been on staff for 38 years and pastor for 28 years. For most of those years in the ministry, his beloved wife Terry, the love of his life, worked by his side.
