“Why would God inspire a written revelation if He was not going to preserve it?”2 Corinthians was written to “the Church of God which is at Corinth, with all the Saints in Achaia,” while 1 Corinthians was addressed to “all those everywhere who call upon the name of our Lord…” and Galatians was sent to “the Churches of Galatia.”Are we to believe that all those early believers shared a single copy of each Book of Scripture, passing them from Church to Church? It is absurd to even suggest. Paul and Peter’s journey’s also – spanned some 10,000 miles – from Jerusalem to Rome, and throughout the shores of the Aegean Sea. How many copies of James’ epistle would it take to reach those “in the dispersion?”It is clear from Scripture alone that the early church had multiple copies of the New Testament. From the epistles, and other early evidence, it is likewise clear that the idea of a New Testament ‘Canon’ already existed in 115 A.D. From the abundance of copies in circulation, even before this time, it is evident that these faithful believers had in their possession a ‘Majority Text.’ In God’s Word Preserved Cody Parrott gathers witnesses from across the ages to demonstrate conclusively that this very same ‘majority text’ was cherished century after century, until 1611, when English translators used various editions to give the King James Version to the world. In this collection of voices, the declaration of John W. Burgon, rings true:“As surely as it is dark now, and as certainly as the sun will rise to-morrow morning, so surely will the traditional text be vindicated and the views I have striven to express be accepted. I may not live to see it. Most likely I shall not. But it will come.”

Words are powerful and when used correctly can ignite a fire that reveals God's original purpose for a person's life, but words misused can quench that fire and destroy purpose. The book "Who Told You That You Were Naked?" looks at creation and How God used the word to speak and create all that we see and all that we are created to be from the beginning of time. Additionally, "Who Told You That You Were Naked?' looks at how the same words God uses to create and build, the enemy uses to distort and tear down the truth to trick us into forfeiting our Kingdom rights and authority. My prayer is after reading "Who Told You That You Were Naked?" you will experience an "aha" moment and reflect and hear God ask the question, "Who told you that you were naked?" Also, in the that moment come to the realization that your nakedness manifested because the enemy lied, tricked, and then exposed your nakedness. Finally, after reconciling that "aha" moment understand and know we need a Savior to cover our nakedness and redeem what the enemy has stolen. Karen L. Pryor is an ordained minister, evangelist, prayer warrior, and psalmist. The call that God has on her life is to evangelize, and spread that good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and be a voice of encouragement to the Body of Christ.

  • - Ozanam in his own words
    by C M Ronald Ramson
    £20.49

Dear Reader,I decided to get out of the boat and walk on water.I chose to write an “autobiography” of a man who never wrote an autobiography. 187 years after his death, I did this because I have such admiration for him: Blessed Antoine-Frederic Ozanam.Over the years, I found that I know less about him than what I do know. In the process of writing this volume, I discovered much more about this 19th century Frenchman!  I believe he ranks among the most remarkable individuals I have ever studied, a rare combination of intellectual genius and man of sanctity, an extremist in love.By delving into his thoughts, feelings, and actions in the various sections of this biography I hope you will become as fascinated with Ozanam as I am and have been:+ the closeness of the Ozanam family+ Frederic’s spirituality+ the founding of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul+ his insights on a variety of subjects+ his fairly-tale marriage+ the last months of his short lifeThank you for choosing “I, Frederic…” Dear Reader,I decided to get out of the boat and walk on water.I chose to write an “autobiography” of a man who never wrote an autobiography. 187 years after his death, I did this because I have such admiration for him: Blessed Antoine-Frederic Ozanam.Over the years, I found that I know less about him than what I do know. • - Agreement Between Father and Son
    by J Maurice Wright
    £13.99

Jesus said, “A new Covenant I make in My blood” but with whom and what is the agreement? In this third book, J. Maurice Wright shares what the Holy Spirit led him to understand about our new covenant. It gives new insights into law, works, faith, love, and walking by the Holy Spirit. He states that testament and covenant produce very similar thinking, but which is best understood by the Jew or Gentile? Jews knew covenant better than Gentile, but both understood a testament. They both explain how God’s gifts are given. We are established, ‘In Christ’ through whom we contact the Father. He is the mirror through which the agreement is dimly viewed. We walk as He walked in the ‘Covenant of Love’. He lives the law and I live by faith in Him, co-heir of all the gifts he receives. We are now one step removed from the law. “Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for the righteous shall live by faith,” Gal 3:11. I can’t keep covenant-but Jesus can! There are discussion questions at the end of each chapter, for the reader or class. Jesse Maurice Wright was born and raised in Texas, to Christian parents. Being a “preacher’s kid”, he also lived in Colorado and Utah.Maurice attended Abilene Christian University, returning to Denver to marry, Janiece Selby, his wife of 64 years. He was a building and electrical contractor before retiring, serving as a Deacon and Elder in different congregations in Denver, CO., Chula Vista, CA., Las Vegas, NV., and Eugene, OR. “The Lord has blessed me richly with a son and daughter, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.”

  • by Clay A Henry
    £13.99

While extensively considered ambiguous, Dr. Henry asserts that civility is one the most neglected and misunderstood personality assets.  Having no common standard of comparison, civility is a precondition needed for people to be civil to others. It is the fertilizer that makes the soil ready to produce a bountiful crop. The author also claims incivility can be a vile and destructive human behavioral trait. Incivility is a condition of the person being hateful and vengeful to others.  It is the manure that yields adverse consequences in a broken world. Concerning incivility, we can say:• the political scene is awash with incivility in the US congress and tends to bring about the cessation of statesmanship.• it causes divisions in the workplace involving uncivil communication and worst of all, promotes evil relationship-oriented behavior.Credence is given to these assessments of civility and incivility when examined from different perceptions. An objective evaluation of these two unlike attributes form the foundational thoughts of this book’s author. Out of these intriguing ideas, he believes that only when different perspectives are brought together can we gain a clearer understanding of civil matters. It is “a point in a process where problems are solved.” This is the way we can gain a clearer interpretation of civil matters. It is at the point where the godly and wicked perceptions of civil issues connect. In geometry, an intersection point is the crossing of two distinct lines. Such a point is discovered in the message of the cross of Calvary. This junction is where the vertical love of God intersects one’s horizontal love of mankind, and in a broken world, it brings about the transformational change of incivility to civility. Dr. Clay Henry received his DDS at Baylor College of Dentistry and subsequently, earned a PhD at MIT. He advanced his professional career as a teacher, professor and researcher.  He is a retired colonel having served in the U.S. Army. His wife, Rose Marie, unexpectedly succumbed to blood cancer in 2019. Dr. Henry now lives in an assisted living facility in Rockwall, Texas. He has published three Christian books: Self Exposed, Your Health in a World of Conflict, and Beyond Wondering about Murder from a Judeo-Christian Perspective. He hopes these three books and The Evil of Incivility in a Broken World will ignite real interest in spirituality.

  • - Layman's Words
    by A L Springer
    £14.99

To whomever may read this book:   I started a study of Revelation several years ago.  The reason for starting this study was to try and understand the last book of the Bible.  So many had told me that Revelation was full of mysteries and difficult to understand.  I searched for something that would guide me, make me think about each verse and how each passage applies to my life now and how it could in the future.  My great uncle had written a book many years ago that had been passed down through my family to me.  I used his book as my guide for my quest.  But, as I got into the study I began writing down additional verses, thoughts and life applications.  Also, trying to relate to what we know as everyday life today to what must of seemed so foreign to John.  All that said this book was put together with much prayer and godly guidance to provide assistance in studying Revelation.  I hope it will help someone not only understand Revelation, but prompt thoughts and discussions.  Most of all I hope this book might inspire to spread the gospel before it is too late and possibly help someone find their way to Christ.

  • - Another Flawed Man Chosen by God
    by Julian C Long
    £13.99

America’s Founding Fathers believed in God and His correct way to survive and thrive. God chose them (with flaws) to draft the U.S. Constitution and show citizens the way to greatness. They warned citizens to not allow domineering politicians and bureaucrats to rule them. Now, Suicidal Misplaced Faith (in man, not in God) has the U.S.A. in a man-made mess that America’s “brightest” can’t fix. On life support since praying believers prompted God to help defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016, President Trump (called and chosen by God) has worked nonstop to distance us from Socialism and lead us to new greatness. Our President is flawed, but he is a tough, principled non-politician who has bravely withstood a barrage of “fiery darts” from the Left for three years. Our continuing status as a Free Nation Under God depends upon his reelection in 2020 - which can be won by the Right - IF American believers humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face, and turn away from wickedness. God will hear our prayers for America and our President, and He will heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14) Julian C. Long: Atypical Teacher-Preacher. 50+ years• military veteran: Foot soldier, Avionics Tech., Combat Air Crewman, Good Conduct Medal, Honorable Discharge.• B.A., English, University of SC, M.Div, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.• Teacher: English, Spanish, Bible, and Psychology - private schools and Tech College• Headmaster. Once President, Headmasters’ Assn.• Student Pastor, rural North Carolina.• Minister of Education/Associate Pastor, and Pastor.• Seek to expose both liars and Truth tellers equally. SELF FIRST!• Peeves: Spiritually blind “leaders”, lawlessness, oppressive government, self-absorbed politicians and their followers.• Married 59+ years (Betty). One son, one daughter, 3 grandchildren. Considers “Abortion on Demand” a grievous sin, ashamed of citizens who practice it and politicians and “Judges” who approve of it

Whether it be for practical reasons, financial reasons, or because of one’s own convictions, many will find themselves shouldering the immense task of caring for these relatives themselves.Caregiving: A Temporary Investment into the Treasures of Heaven is the heartfelt testimony of one author’s experiences as caregiver to her elderly mother. With genuine vulnerability, practical advice, a touch of humor, and abundant spiritual fortitude, this book is for caregivers in need of encouragement as they take on the physically, mentally, and emotionally taxing responsibility of caring for elderly relatives.Presented in short chapters designed to fit into the average caregiver’s busy schedule, this book will provide readers with touching personal narratives, useful insight, and the constant reminder that even when the situation is most challenging—when doubt, frustration, fear, and more seem impossible to overcome—God is there to provide direction. Roles change in life. Lisa Arceri’s experience for decades was as a Christian wife, mother, and business owner. In 2014, she took on the role of caregiver when her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Like many, Lisa faced the challenge with an open heart and little experience. She relies on the faith that carried her through other challenges in life. Lisa wants to encourage the faith and affirm the decision of those taking on the role of caring for their elderly parents at home.

You’d fully expect them to fly like an eagle, but they’re only a duck. During the love-bombing phase, you’ll find them charming and engaging, but their deep wounds will ultimately manifest in their behavior by the time you’re already hooked. Many narcissists, like ducks, always seem to be in control on the surface, but they’re paddling very furiously underneath the water due to their deep-seated insecurities; the longer you stay, the more you damage yourself. Narcissists know exactly what they are doing, and instead of fixing themselves, they break you too; they rape your soul…until duck hunting season ensues. From the first-ever narcissist I met, who took my virginity, to the one who raped me during the confrontation over his cheating, to the one who mocked me for wanting to connect emotionally rather than social media fake it, I have found a common theme: they just want to use you while depleting your energy. Your relationship with them may be toxic from the beginning yet it’s like a spider’s web as the trauma bond entangles you. So, if you’re a woman like me or even a woman in this world of narcissistic men, this book will help you spot those ducks, learn about their behavior patterns, and equip you with the tools to fight back. It will set you free. For men too, who want to change and avoid becoming a victim of this duck hunting season, I have the solution.Amy is a witty thinker, dynamic teacher, and public speaker who ignites innovation and facilitates change in you or your organization.

  • - (with excerpts from Hebrew Matthew and Talmud)
    by James R Ward

The Sermon on the Mount, found in the Gospel of Matthew, is familiar to all Christians. Yet, despite its familiarity, there are many questions surrounding this “sermon” and scholars have done their best to provide answers. Was it really a sermon, or was it a mountain retreat that consisted of many speeches from Jesus? How are we to understand Jesus’ words in a pre-Christian context? Insights from the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew and Talmud help to answer such questions. In his book, The Mountain Yeshiva: An Old Look at the “Sermon” on the Mount, author James. R. Ward is primarily interested in how Jesus’ listeners understood His message. He looks at it, not through the lens of Church history but rather, in its original Jewish context. For those serious Bible students who desire the educational middle-ground between an academic work and a devotional guide, The Mountain Yeshiva: An Old Look at the “Sermon” on the Mount will provide you with an interesting analysis of chapters five through seven in the Gospel of Matthew.  James Ward’s diverse background enables him to bring a unique perspective to the scriptures.  His decades of experience as a Bible teacher, IT professional, and understanding of the Bible languages helps him to notice many of the important details in God’s word. Those details often work to demystify the passages in question and illuminate the simple understanding of the speaker’s intentions.  The author also seeks to peel back the layers of traditional interpretation that often hide the plain understanding of the scriptures.  He is a technician and a teacher who seeks to reveal basic truths that are there waiting to be found.

  • - Diamonds of Truth for Successful Personal Relationships
by Linda Christensen & Norma Strange

Personal observations provided the inspiration for many of the details incorporated within the book. The descriptive stories depict a few of the myriad of possible sources for the discouragement scenarios, defense mechanisms, and attitudes. The stories illuminate some of the subtle but devious ways that ‘doing what comes naturally’ damages and destroys personal relationships. Mission impossible becomes ‘Mission Possible’ with God’s awesome guidance and power.   The book presents diamonds of truth from the Bible culminating in two main messages: Live your faith so that others can see  true faith that reflects the presence of the Holy Spirit residing in you.   Like a living human body without a soul is not possible, so also a genuine faith without good works is not possible.  When your actions reflect good deeds, you have listened and acted in obedience.  When your actions do not reflect good deeds, you have ignored, missed, or rebelled against the Holy Spirit’s guidance and directions (James 2:14-26.)  Reject your natural human tendencies to react by “doing what comes naturally.”   God allows but does not condone our failures to live by His standards as described in the Bible.  The Holy Spirit  provides the power to bring us to repentance and obedience to God’s will and His ways.  Jesus assures us that we abide in Him.  His love for us is similar to a human parent but more perfect.  He loves us without regard to our behaviors and delights in  us when we choose obedience to His commands (John 15:.9-17.)   Linda Christensen and Norma Strange have been passionate about Christian books and Bible studies. They thank God for His encouragement during  their pursuit of the contents of this book.
