Red Markers

THE REST OF THE STORY describes the Vietnam War experienced by the RED MARKERS, an Air Force forward air controller (FAC) detachment, and the men they supported. Those included the elite Vietnamese Airborne and their American advisors of MACV Team 162, known as Red Hats. Red Markers and Red Hats fought alongside the Airborne in battles throughout Vietnam and Cambodia. More than 100 men contributed to this history. They include Red Marker FACs, crew chiefs, and radio operators, Red Hats, FACs from other detachments, Cobra gunship pilots, Medevac helicopter pilots and crew, and artillerymen from field artillery units. This book is a tribute to them all.
