The Red Tractor tells the adventure of young Jimmy as he tries to rescue a wayward letter that has escaped the notice of the mail carrier emptying the corner mailbox. His efforts have led him in a direction he did not anticipate, putting himself in jeopardy, changing the lives of those he has touched along the way, as well as teaching him some valuable lessons. Her children and grandchildren all live in the midwest area. She has been widowed since 2014. After retiring from teaching in 2009 she anticipated settling into a comfortable life style with her attorney husband and two dogs to garden, write and explore the United States. After several sharp turns her life journey lead her home to the family farm and an agrarian life style where she now resides with her younger sister, several sheep, ducks, chickens, four dogs and a cat.
