It tells the story of Daniel QuinnÕs return to Ireland after he learns of his brotherÕs entrapment by a suspected para-military organisation.

DanielÕs subsequent attempts to free his brother and his involvement with an Irish girl build up to a thrilling climax.

A murder then results in DanielÕs setting out on a trail of revenge.

Author Brian Mortimer was born in Leeds and schooled in Doncaster.

He joined the army serving for eight years, before being demobbed in 1960.

After the army he then entered the Civil Service, serving as an Electronic Technician for thirty-two years, retiring finally in 1992.

BrianÕs many holidays in Ireland gave him the story line for this book.
