Rinnsteinsprache

Hans Ostwald analysiert in diesem Buch die Sprache und Umgangsformen der Unterschicht am Beispiel von Berlin. Er stellt fest, dass es sich bei der sogenannten Rinnsteinsprache um eine eigenständige Sprache handelt, die viele Gemeinsamkeiten mit der so genannten Berliner Mundart hat. Dabei geht er auch auf soziale Hintergründe ein und versucht, dem Leser einen besseren Einblick in die Lebensumstände der Unterschicht zu vermitteln.
