River's Trail Home

About River's Trail Home

Neal clinging to the rough bark of a tree, water rushing underfoot. He could recall not even an hour ago, he was with his brother Kenny. With the Lightning crackling across the sky with its thunderous booms the mighty Mississippi roared. Cold, wet, and worried about his family he clung to the tree, white-knuckled as tears streamed down his face, he questioned himself. Will he ever see them again, would he live to see another day? Born in a small rural town in the countryside of Kansas, and being the youngest of her family with three older brothers she was no stranger to dirt roads or honest work. Moving to Oklahoma in her twenties she enjoyed the country lifestyle. Raising horses, and cattle all year round, with a summertime garden. When she wasn't working or living the lifestyle, she spent time writing stories, painting, and traveling across the United States learning all kinds of history. Having a particularly soft spot for the Western 1800s history.
