A short history of Sir Sam Hughes and the history of the 109th Overseas Battalion in WWI and its organization.
In accordance with the demand made in King's Regulations and Orders, that each Unit in His Majesty's Forces should keep a Historical Record: it has been my endeavour to set forth in the following pages, as clearly and accurately as possible, a short record of the one hundred and ninth Overseas Battalion, of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
