Sandmouse

Shelley, a young harvest mouse, is separated from his family when his cornfield home is dug up to provide yet another site for static holiday caravans. He struggles to survive against predators and the winter weather, but refuses to abandon his quest to be reunited with his own kind.
This wildlife adventure story is set on a small Kentish island and explores Man's effect upon the habitats of animals and the nature of friendship.
