Sasquatch Summer

Sasquatch Summer is a sweet, lighthearted fable for children in which an exciting but unthreatening adventure culminates in the discovery that monsters, meaning those who are different than us, are not so scary after all. The simplicity of the story, its focus on physical and emotional pleasures, and its clear moral tolerance are great for the grade school reader.
The story features a boy who enters a forest in search of a rumored monster, bands together with friendly talking animals, uses teamwork to cross a lake and meets the Sasquatch, who turns out to bake the best berry pies in the forest. The characters are friendly, trusting, and polite and love to eat, laugh and have adventures in the forest together.
