Scratching the Surface

God's love is not just on the surface of our lives. His love goes into the depths of our soul. Our lives are to be deeply bound in Jesus Christ, our Savior. This book is intended to teach how to scratch the surface and seek God's love. To show how a life found in Christ is bound in Christ. It is intended to show you how to dig deeper into God's Word, how to live and breathe His love. My hope is that you will find a true and loving God and not only self. God is there; sometimes you have to find Him. What we usually see is an image of our sinful selves. But when we seek and find more of Jesus, we see Him shining through as love; wiping away all sin so the surface glows and gleams like freshly washed windows. Look inside and see who is looking out at you. The surface is only the beginning of digging deeper, scratch and see what lies beneath. Julie Shirkey, a Christian author, who with her husband Steve, lives in Central Illinois with their rescue kitties. Julie enjoys working on cars and helping others.
