How much do we ever really know about our own family? At her great granny Irene's wake, Emily is astonished when a letter from the grave reveals a secret which had been kept hidden for decades.
Irene's written confession explains that she had an illegitimate daughter she named Julia who she gave up for adoption in 1945. In a heartfelt plea, Irene begs her family to search for her long-lost child so they can tell her that she was never forgotten and always loved.
