Seashells and Sandcastles

After the death of both Liz Carlson's parents, she takes a sabbatical from her job as a lawyer. Liz looked for comfort in her favorite place. Dewey Beach brings back many fond memories of her youth which includes the remembrance of none other than Nick Wilson. He continues to pass through her mind as she remembers her seventeen-year crush on the boy next door. Alone with only her thoughts, she recalls the infatuation of a wide eyed ten-year-old for a seventeen-year-old neighbor. Mr. Wilson also sought solace at the beach to continue his life without his wife. Their lives entwine when his four-year-old granddaughter Bailey is left in his care for the summer. Liz envisions this summer to be perfect until Nick returns for a visit with his daughter.
