I like how the basics are explained to you in a clear and easy way, I can't say that it will help you greatly because if you do not practice you won't have the muscle memory. But this is a great guide to follow with some friends maybe to start practicing. What spots you could be hitting to stun your attacker. It has also some extra tips on what to wear and how to avoid having to defend yourself in the first place. That part I really liked.
I’ve trained in the martial arts for over 30 years, but I want something I can show my kids, that will help them when I’m not around. Most kids these days, don’t have the patience for traditional systems and belt progressions, and who can blame them? We live in troubled times, and need to be armed with simple techniques that will work.
I'm going to be honest. I have never read a self help book before this one. I have read all George Mahood's books and didn't want a DNF on my streak of them. I have always felt inspired by his writings. This book did not disappoint and has inspired me to make some changes. Thanks for the tips. My dog thanks you too.
