Twenty years have passed since Randell Cordell abandoned his dying wife and ran off with another woman. He was vilified by everyone in the small connunity for his heartless and immoral beheavior. He's determined to make a freash start to his troubled life and hopes to redeem himself by returning to the town where his downfall began.
