Shield of the Mighty

Zevi, a captain in King Saul's army, is sent to his childhood hometown to recruit soldiers to fight the Philistines and skilled artisans to serve in court. Confronted by his dark past and an intriguing and beautiful perfumer, he's forced to wrestle with his ambitions and his desire for vengeance while entangled in a dangerous plot.
