Shock Wave Seven Meters

About Shock Wave Seven Meters

It is the purely fictional year 2028. The completely contaminated corpse of a national park ranger turns up in the southern North Sea. Most of those, who come into contact with it, die or are seriously injured. Shortly afterwards, a marine biologist mysteriously dies during a routine dive on Heligoland. And not even twelve hours later, the entire seabird and seal population on Heligoland is suddenly just history! The rocky island of Heligoland, which was sold off to Lower Saxony by the bankruptcy of the northernmost German Federal state of Schleswig-Holstein, is now visited by the Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, who is of German-Irish descent. Toxicologists from Hanover also arrive to investigate the environmental problems on the island, while an Irish terrorist sneaks in with the gaggle of reporters to eliminate the Prime Minister. But the assassination attempt backfires and things suddenly turn out very differently than expected. And just when everyone believes the crisis to be over, a much bigger event casts its shadow, coupled with a monstrous conspiracy against millions of people... In the course of this novel, the Japanese whaling is ended, and the Irish Trouble is resolved in a surprising and unconventional way. The book is based on numerous true and verifiable facts and circumstances, so that only very little fiction had to be added to the actual thriller. And at the end of this thriller, some legacies of the Second World War play a role that you wouldn't have expected!
