Simulated Hysteria

According to his doctors, Tomas Stellar is no longer a danger to himself or others. He is released from the psychiatric hospital, only to be horrified by how much society outside the institution is a danger, both to itself and to people like him. Simulated Hysteria is his account of the struggle to come to terms with the madness around him and make a place for himself in the world.
