Slipping Away

"I can feel myself slipping away.
Parts of me fall through the cracks and I don't know who I am anymore.
The darkness is consuming me.
Soon there will be nothing left of me.
I need someone to grasp my hand and hold on tightly.
Please don't let me slip away." Continuation of 'Lost and Found' Slipping Away is a collection of poetry that expresses my thoughts, feelings, experiences, and my creative (fiction) work. As I battle the demons that come with anxiety, depression, and past trauma, I write poetry to cope with the pain. Not only to help myself but to allow others to know that they are not alone.
