Snapshots

Following the Girl series, the question remained: What happened to the baby? Snapshots is a fact-wrapped-in-fiction autobiography. Baby Carrie was adopted, no matter how much her mama wanted to keep her. Her name was changed. Her life changed. Her mama changed. But many of her memories remained.
Who knew that a six-week-old baby would remember her mama? People all too often say, "Babies are like a rubber ball. They bounce back." What they don't take into consideration is the question, "At what price?" Infants have no words to process their feelings. That doesn't stop the images in their minds. Trudy never understood but she never forgot.
