Somethin' Out of Nothin'

Growing up in poverty a middle school girl had to overcome the opinions of others. The shame she felt when she overheard her teachers talking about her ended up giving her strength and perseverance that she uses to help people in poverty today. Somethin' Out of Nothin' is a much-needed story to help anyone who works with children understand poverty. The book was written for educators to understand how to support students living in poverty. It is an example of perseverance, grit, and stamina.
