Survival of the Fittest

Special Operations, the government division that deals with the paranormal, is in transition. With Little Jack McGrath and Sylvester Starnes, the Immortal Man, out of the management process, Ops is under the control of Medina Kane, younger sister of renowned elemental channeler Geneva Kane. Medina has plenty to do. A mysterious event uncovered by the former Director of Field Operations, Sam Grant, results in an Ops investigation in St. Louis. This is a city that has caused Ops problems before, but when the team discovers were-creatures running around underneath a supposedly abandoned factory, things take a decidedly nasty turn. Racing against time, Sam, Medina, and long-time partner of Ops Colin Ridgeway race to save the city and perhaps the world. One of them will not survive the attempt.
