Target Earth

- The Emily Smith Trilogy, Book 3

About Target Earth

Target Earth is the third book in the Emily Smith Trilogy. Seed of Hope and Assimilation sets the stage for the final encounter with an enemy which is not stronger or professional in combat but who's tactic is to overwhelm their enemy, carbon base life forms, thru sheer numbers. Emily, Sasha and Blain have sent an innumerable host into black holes but to no avail. They soon learn their primary task is to keep the enemy away from the Earth as long as possible. The delaying tactics included Sasha leading Space Commandoes to board the alien warships and destroy the command structures and the hibernating enemy within. Emily became one with the AI construction within the Intergalactic Carrier. Blain assumed command of the fleet. These tactics were designed to give Sara, on the Earth, time to launch as many Intergalactic Seed Carriers as possible. Sara used her childhood friend Kyla to organized anti-government forces to join with the military in defending the earth. It was not long after Sasha's attacks on the alien carriers they realized that the aliens were the masters at delaying tactics and their objective was to keep the Human and the Andrian military fleet away from the earth while another fleet of enemy carriers attacked Earth from a different quadrant. Sara, her family and military contingent barely managed to evacuate the earth before numerous enemy warships exited wormholes opened in the space time fabric. They offloaded their enemy soldiers by the millions and quickly overwhelmed Earth's defenders. Sara and family were witnesses to the destruction but it was not the end. A corrugated sheet of white light collected the souls of mankind and Andrians and all other intelligences from the earth. As for the alien invaders, they received the judgement that was foretold.
