This book is a sequel to the last book, Thaddeus, Keep Your Eye on the Ball. [!Tadeo, mantén el ojo en la pelota!] The main character is an 8 year old boy, based on the character of the author's son at that age.
Written in English and Spanish, it features an imaginary trip to the island of Martha's Vineyard. HIs friends go along on the adventure sprinkled with a little history. This is fun for the whole family and a great way to learn Spanish.
