Hairy Spinner lives in the canopy of the rain forest. He's different than his family as he craves adventure--more then just catching a large insect in his web. Suddenly, he is being whisked away on the back of a bat who hasn't earned her full pilot's wings. They set off on a harrowing adventure through the forest, meeting others along the way, while trying to return Hairy to his family.
