The Anchored Team Process: Navigating & Thriving Amidst Life's StormsBy Joshua Holloway
About The Anchored Team Process: Navigating & Thriving Amidst Life's Storms

Joshua Holloway was born in Wilson, North Carolina. His grandmother and aunt, both women of faith, prayed and contended for his spiritual growth, and as a result, he began to go to camps and serve in youth leadership. He became involved in both Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and Civil Air Patrol, which ignited a love for search and rescue and a passion to serve in the United States Air Force. Joshua had a desire to serve his fellow man and woman, which sparked a desire to serve people and bridge gaps within communities. Joshua began his career journey by serving young people and volunteering with Airman Against Drunk Drivers. He was also involved in a men's ministry at his church, dedicating hours of his time to helping families learn to communicate and stick with difficult conversations. After getting injured in the military, he changed his career and began teaching. However, he quickly realized that the classroom setting was not where he wanted to be, so he began pursuing a career as a mental health therapist. He attended two separate universities in an effort to have an in-person experience and learn therapy from a faith-based perspective, which also afforded him the ability to be classically trained. He graduated from the University of Providence with a Masters of Science in Counseling as well as Regent University with a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with an emphasis on Biblical Counseling. Joshua began working with families in state mental health services and partnered with juvenile probation and parole services to help keep young people in their families. In The Anchored Team Process, Joshua has applied years of research and experience to put together a workbook that takes the mystery out of therapy. The Anchored book is meant to be just that: an anchor; a pivotal part of a person's journey toward becoming healthy. This workbook allows people to track and monitor their own personal mental health journey regardless of who they see for counseling. It's a therapeutic primer that can be used by professionals and laypeople, mentors and mentees, and just by individuals who want some inner reflection and want to see where they stand with themselves. We truly hope you enjoy it and find your personal best!
