The Bamboo Bees

A terrible and horrible war on the continent has obliterated countless lives - people, animals, insects. This short story is set in a city of one of the countries in the continent. It tells the tale of the resiliency of bees, the winged pollinators, amidst such adversity and carnage, as it intersects with the plight of a handful of survivors. In many respects, this tale shows that reality, in whatever form, is much nearer and closer than what humankind thinks, has been thinking, or has thought.
