The Book of Daniel

This world is in need of hope. An assurance that the darkness we see in this present world will not triumph over all that we know is good and decent. There's an onslaught of evil being unleashed against our world that is shaking the very foundation of our Judeo-Christian value system. How will it end? Will evil take over? The book of Daniel shows us that the kingdom of darkness can only go so far, and no further, till the Ancient of Days steps onto the stage of human history, and God will have His day and His way. This book tells the story of the Jewish exile in Babylon in the sixth century BC. The last half of the book is an account of prophetic visions given to Daniel, revealing the destiny of the Jewish nation and the world, from Daniel's day till the end of the age. Ruth Waldner has been active in ministry for many years, as a Bible teacher, prayer team leader, children's ministry associate, etc. Ruth is a 1986 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK, and is currently a charter member of Billye Brim Bible Institute in Missouri. She and her husband make their home near Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
