This is Barbara Maitra's second collection of short stories written with the same wry observation as in her first collection. Coming from a family predominantly male - she has two sons and two grandsons - her stories mainly feature girls who overcome and win. She feels she understands them better. However, men are not ignored. Men from Mars can be as entertaining as women from Venus.
