The Charming Hinterland of Pattaya

The Charming Hinterland of Pattaya⸻Hidden and Treasured Places informs about sites and areas of cultural, religious and natural interest in the hinterland of Pattaya, along the coastal stretch between the sea resort and Sattahip.
The curious visitor can easily visit these places for further exploration. This work includes the following sites:
- The old Chinese village of Chak Ngaew with its traditional Saturday market;
- Wat Yansangwararam complex with its numerous religious sites and shrines;
- Buddha Mountain with the engraved large sitting Buddha image;
- Wild animal and plant centers of Banglamung;
- Wat Song Metta Wanaram with its conception for worshipping and meditation;
- Splendid Glass Viharn at Wat Thep Prasat;
- Krom Luang Chumphon Park with Monument and Shrine; and
- Wat Luang Pho Ei (or Wat Sattahip) and the account of Luang Pho Ei's life.
The content is supported by more than 500 images, taken between 2004 and 2023 plus charts, plans and maps to show the locations of the sites.
