Investigative reporter Jack Richardson returns once more, this time in a gripping story that begins in a tiny Romanian backwater and ends in the centre of London's seedy underworld.
Jack is working on a story when he receives the tragic news that his brother-in-law has been found dead in his car, after having taken his own life.
Jack has reservations about the verdict of suicide, and so he starts to probe the circumstances, soon finding similarities between his brother-in-law's death and the story he is working on, both connected to a chain of events which began three years earlier, and over a thousand miles away...
