The ‘Delie'

Maurice Sceve (c.1500-c.1564) was a French poet. Originally published in 1966, this edition of Sceve's 1544 poetic cycle Delie, objet de plus haulte vertu was prepared specifically for English-speaking students. The poems are presented in French, with an extensive introduction and detailed textual notes in English.
