The Drivers' Room is a story about an economically-disparate and socially-dysfunctional group of men working for a small Midwestern moving company vying to win a huge national corporate contract which, if successful, could give them a lifetime of job security.
Inspired by true events, The Drivers' Room is told through the eyes of a college student, Alex Stenger, who is exposed to the rough and tumble world of cross-country trucking in the late 1960s, and a time when Vietnam, campus unrest and the draft loomed large in every young man's life.
His adventures forged life-long friendships, lasting memories, and an appreciation for the beauty of America.
