The Emmanuel Project

An archeologist and his adventurer son are recruited by a team of Israeli physicists to participate in a top-secret time travel project. Transported back to First Century Palestine, the son journeys across the Holy Land in search of the rabbi Jesus, bearing witness to the birth of Christianity.
