On an ill-fated adventure, Jobe died, but Paracleus resurrected him with the power of the phoenix. However, their memories were erased and they were separated from each other as a repercussion. Yet their love endured despite this, and Jobe and Paracleus were eventually reunited with their memories restored, thanks to the efforts of their friends, family, and the Knights of Arria. Jobe and Paracleus immediately proposed to each other. However, they both have to contend with the fact that Jobe is possessed by the phoenix spirit. He has inherited its magical power of fiery, spiritual resurrection. There are a lot of demons, people, and spirits who would like to get their hands on such a power. Especially some of the enemies Jobe and Paracleus have made over the years. Jobe and Paracleus are facing a lot of opposition.
