The Fishes of a Dream is the lifetime memoir of a fisherman and the remembrance of happiness spent beside some of the world's most peaceful waters and in the company of some of its most beautiful creatures.
It is also an act of communion with a vanishing world: nowhere in the waters of our watery Planet is now safe from the brutal onthrust of humanity.
The world in which we, the descendants of the fishes, arose is vanishing, far faster than anybody could possibly have dreamed. This story is partly a lament to its passing - and partly a celebration of its wonders and the joys it still has to offer us.
