The Fox and the Pear Tree

Felicity moves to London to follow her dreams, but everything goes wrong until she discovers an old Victorian pub which leads to a job, friends, and a feeling of home. As if fated, she falls for the pub's head chef, Malin, but the relationship seems to inexplicably stall before it begins. On a late-night walk after a typical shift, Felicity encounters the smarmy, nine-tailed Friend Fox who assures her there is a reason why, leading her to a magic key, a mysterious door to 'other' London...and Reggie, an exact copy of Malin - or is he? As Felicity tries to understand what is happening around her, she must live her own fairy tale to save Malin, Reggie, and herself from the malevolent force manipulating events from the shadows. With both of her worlds on the verge of collapse, she will find a way to uncover the truth and the real meaning of happily ever after. The Fox and the Pear Tree is an homage to the classic 'simple' fairy tale while mixing memoir and historical fiction.
