The God Jar

John Dee is a confidant of Queen Elizabeth I. He is a scholar and mathematician who dabbles in the occult and is known as 'the Queen's magician'. He unearths a remarkable object which appears to have fantastic powers, and uses it to save his Queen and country. 400 years later it turns up again, this time off the coast of Cornwall, and changes the lives of the young couple who find it.
