Psychic detective Michael Merlyn delves into the supernatural undercurrents of Clayton, racing against time to solve the vanishing spirits' puzzle. When Michael Merlyn arrives in the small town of Clayton, Massachusetts to investigate the reported suicide of local investment banker Jonathan Sullivan, he finds that the man's spirit is missing. With the help of his partner Kate and sister Victoria, Michael searches for clues to uncover what really happened to Jonathan. But the paranormal activity in Clayton seems to be escalating, as other spirits also vanish without a trace. Faced with a rash of disappearances he can't explain, Michael must use all of his psychic gifts to get to the root of the mysterious happenings, find Jonathan's spirit, and prevent any more spirits from going missing in the town of Clayton.
